Sorting an entry out for the Summer Polaris and I already have various maps from previous North Yorks Moors events. Can you indicate if the map will be a 'special' or if it's just going to be one of the standard sheets so I know if I need to order one or not.
The answer's already here J
Thanks for that Liam. For those of you who don't wish to read the whole of the other thread to get the answer, it appears to be:-
When will the entry list be updated? At the moment it shows it was last updtaed 28th April.
It was updated tonight!

Eh? I mite not understand Liam, but i can lift heavy things.
So how does OS Sheet 94 compare to the Summer Polaris 2002(?) North York Moors sheet I already have? I assume they overlap, but not by enough for me to avoid buying the OS map???
er it is a different area, 2002 was based in the NW of the NYMNP whereas this summers is based in the SW.
........forgive me for butting in, but wasn't Summer 2002 in the Peaks. Just i have in front of me the old map from that weekend and it defintitely says Buxton and Matlock on the front, OS Sheet 119. Sorry for splitting hairs.
Sorry to keep banging on about the website, but following the latest update (the one including the Summer 2003 final details) it's now much worse than it was before. Most of the images are missing and the top left navigation frame doesn't show up. It looks like most of the paths include a reference to a non-existant "website" directory. Looks like you might have copied the wrong level of the directory heirarchy to the live server.
More problems. The javascript on the online entry form is completely broken.
What you need to do, Liam, is to completely redesign the Polaris website so that all the entry forms are easily accessable with nice large links on the page, update the entry list weekly and reorganise things so the page looks nicer.
Newbie questionj for the summer polaris - I know its basic but what shower\wash facilites (if any!) are available at the campsite
ALERT -- sheet 92 not 94 -- says so on the home page.
Sorry it is 94 - checked on OS site - 92 is Barnard Castle. Unfortunate mistake on homepage.
Liam

1) Please enable the link to the entry list (for everyone else it's here). In fact ALL of the links in the news frame appear to be broken (wrong paths by the looks of things)
2) Please remember to put target="_blank" as a link attribute so that the entry list opens in a new window.
3) Please Please PLEASE remove the line
<script language="javaScript" type="text/javascript" SRC="js/pz_chromeless_2.1.js"></SCRIPT>
from the main page HTML as it causes an error every time the page is loaded.
That's all - for now .

More seriously (for EE at least), your online entry form process appears to have a rather large loophole which allows hackers / email spammers to send mail from the EE server. It isn't nicely formatted, but it does work. You might want to get a more secure version of email.cgi.

If you would like to look after the site - then the job is yours. The pay is low, the hours are long, oh and by the way you have to update the site 1 second after each person has entered.
But seriously the site got screwed up on Saturday night when I up-loaded the final details, it appeared to work fine at that point but.....
I think you are right the site needs changing so would you like to volunteer or does anyone else fancy a go?
