Is there still the system in the polaris where you get an award depending on how many points you get, i think it used to be

350 for bronze
450 for silver and
550 for gold ??

No - we stopped doing this about 5 years ago!

Just for clarity, does your answer 'No' also refer to the cumulative awards for 5000 and 10000 career points?

yes we stopped all awards a while back.

Very mean I say, it took me well over 20 events to reach 5000 points 2 months before my 40th birthday(I'm a slow learner) just to find that it wasn't worth doing any more :-(

But there could be awards for special competitors like you David at our discretion.
We stopped them after we upgraded to 36 CP's per event and electronic scoring as teams were getting higher score.
