By GrahamL ( - 80.6.68.85) on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 - 05:01 pm:

WRONG
There is nothing on the PC website at all yet for 2004 apart from my posting above.

By Liam ( - 164.143.244.34) on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 - 09:44 am:

So the following text from the right hand column is just a mirage then?

SPRING - 2004 INFO
DATE : 21 -22 March 2004
LOCATION : Isle of Man

Not quite the Isle of Wight, but definitely not Yorkshire Dales either.

If your intended meaning is that any information on the website relating to 2004 is not yet up to date, then can I suggest you remove it all to avoid the seemingly annual confusion.

Someone who understands these here interwebsite thingys PLEASE volunteer to keep it updated. The Polaris guys don't have the resource. Someone must be a bike AND net geek. And surely there could be a suitable benefit in kind to be had (free entry to events, team kit and advance notice on the checkpoints?)

I just wish I knew how to do it...

Steve
The scrolling information on the right now reads Yorkshire Dales.
It is not knowledge but time.

I am from Ireland and would like to do the NAVITAC event in May, mainly because the timing suits best. Can anyone tell me:
1) Is this event a definite fixture?
2) If so, where is it due to be held?
3) Is this the same format as the other Plaris events - if not how does it differ?

Any resposnes would be welcome. I tried writing to the email like on the website but got no response.

Regards
Doug

Is the scrolling list on the left side of the website correct, statigh Summer 2004 is in Gods own Country, The Peak District. Or is it TBC as stated at the top of this thread?

Eddie

I understand from Polaris that the Navitec event scheduled for May is cancelled due to land access issues in the area which was to be used for the event. What a pity!

I was interested in organising a Polaris 24 type event in Ireland and had hoped to come over and see how they work. Any suggestions on any long trailquest type events due to take place before mid June which I might try.

Tony - I'm aware of the event this weekend but can't make it over for various reasons. I forgot to mention that.
Thanks for the links. I'll check them out.
