Anyone fancy showing the Frogies how it done!!
This looks like a great event.
The only problem I had with it on my visit is that I still have to work out their equivalent the OS grid ref system. Can any one steer me in the direction of a good navigation guide - be that international lat long, or any country's own grid system.
What format is it? Summer or winter?

In an effort to make a useful contribution to the forum, here is the result of some early research into flights:
Flights to Pau with RyanAir are 73pp(return) flying on friday 7th Nov. and returning on the monday 10th. BMI Baby are cheaper to Toulouse at 62pp(return) but only fly out on thursday 6th and return on tuesday 11th Nov. Flights to Perpignan etc are more expensive still, and are further away.
I suggested that a bike bus to ship people from the airport to the event centre - Roger has forwarded this suggestion to the organisers in France. As there are potentially two airports to pickup from, a bit of coordination with UK competitors might make it easier for the organiser to only have to pick up from one of them.
Other costs are 100 per team (71 at current ER) and maps at 12 each. No soloists, it would seem...

What do you want us to sort?
It is happening, click on the French Logo get an entry form fill it in and go.
We are not arranging it in the UK or acting as a travel agency.
If they receive enough entries from the UK then the French organiser may arrange something.
Use these forum pages to contact others who are going from the UK or click on the link to express an interest. I think the bike bus is not on as they were not interested in individual charters last time I contacted them, but I will contact them again as they are based in the Boro and I have to go into town to pick my new specs up.
