One of the previous threads mentioned a taxi. Yep that was us. We were probably at the furthest point from Leyburn that we could have been in Gunnerside when my partner's front wheel decided it'd had enough and split in two so we had to pull out and hitched a taxi back to Leyburn and got our bikes from the pub later. Big shame because we had cleared up the bottom half of the map and were due to make our way back along Swaledale for the rest of the afternoon. Still we were there and didn't bail out because we wanted to! Great event which will have sorted out the men from the boys! Congratulations to all those that finished - be very, very proud of yourselves!
err....since when has your name been julie and julian, phil!! It seems there must be two taxis in Gunnerside!
