By Line - Real world kit testing
From the start of 2008 Iain Johnson from www.mtbcycleyorkshire.co.uk has been testing our new MTB clothing. Iain has been riding in our new Freeride shorts and Blake shirt in all weathers.
Here is what Iain thinks of our products.....
These shorts have a really nice relaxed fit and good build quality. Made from tough but soft quick drying fabric with a very comfortable intergrated mesh liner and pad. I found the elasticated waist with draw string comfortable. They have also washed really well. Plenty of cargo space provided with the two hip pockets and side cargo pocket.
On the whole an excellent pair of shorts for everyone, I have recommended these to many of my clients. Marks 8/10.
Blake Shirt
'This is a very nice fitting shirt. It keeps you cool and dry with good wicking effect using Airbase fabric.
So far its been used in all weathers, from cold rainy days to warm summer rides- it has never to let me down.
Good sized rear zipped pockets handy for energy/trail snacks.
This is a good all round shirt either worn by its self or used with a base layer. Marks 9/10
