Just bought a SI card that arrived complete with a 'finger strap'. No doubt great for orienteering but I imagine Polaris are going to want it strapped firmly to your wrist for the w/e. Do we need to buy some wrist straps (seem to remember they're available from SI) or will some be available at registration? Will you be checking how firmly the dibbers are attached??
Wrist straps are provided at most events for those who own their own card. Don't worry - you will be given one at registration.
Do I need to buy a Sport Ident card, or will the normal wrist band versions be given out at registration?
Yes they'll be given out, but there's an extra charge for them on the application form.
With questions like this I bet you wished you'd stuck with control punch cards!
